Norwalk Police said they have responded to the business at 169 Main Street twice for the attempted break-ins, said Norwalk Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino.
The first incent took place overnight on Tuesday, March 12 when the owner found someone had attempted to break into the business. Police responded but found that the suspect did not get in.
The second incident took place around 4 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, when a motion sensor picked up movement in the business, Gulino said.
Police responded and found someone had smashed a glass door to get inside. A paver stone, believed to be used to gain entrance was found nearby, she said.
Again, it does not appear that anything was taken, but detectives are actively investigating the incident in an attempt to find the person responsible, she said.
"We are hoping our great working relationship with the community will help us solve the crime," she said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Courtney Downer at 203-854-3182.
